The Team
When fully staffed, YHGfL comprises 19 dedicated and hard-working individuals. The organisation is structured into four key areas:
eLearning
The newly-created eLearning team will be responsible for building comprehensive relationships with all our regional and national partners, helping to promote effective uses of eLearning, identifying gaps in provision and, where appropriate, managing the development of resources and services.
Technical Services
YHGfL is responsible for the research into, and development of, technical solutions to support both the existing services and the development of other appropriate resources and services which support our aims. The Technical Team is a discrete group of specialists with specific responsibility for the investigation and development of solutions to support such initiatives, being in the main project-driven.
Support Services
This team’s main responsibility is for providing technical support for a number of regional authorities and their schools who take services from YHGfL. They provide day-to-day high-level support across a range of technical services, network monitoring and servicing. As agreed with our partner authorities, technical support is provided in the first instance via LA helpdesks, with members of the team dealing directly with schools should they be requested to do so.
Operations
This team is the glue that keeps the organisation working. Key responsibilities are day-to-day office management, responsibility for personnel issues and programme management, commercial management, purchasing and premises management. They also manage the many events we organise. We’d be lost without them!
