Regional Priorities

The work YHGfL do is directed by the needs of our member authorities. Each authority is different and has differing needs but there are key priorities common to all.

This area of the website aims to bring together useful information and resources pertinent to those priorities and in particular bring a local flavour to national agendas. You will find all the key documents such as strategy papers, frameworks and guidance all in one place with links to all other relevant websites for further information.

Throughout the year YHGfL host a number of regional events such as conferences and seminars. These events aim to provide information, advice and guidance by inviting a wide range of speakers who either have an expertise or a wealth of essential experience. Resources such as video clips, PowerPoint presentations and speaker notes will be made available from this section of the website.
