This area of the website provides information and guidance about the services we and the local authorities provide to schools in the region. However, you don't need to be a member to access these pages as they contain information which is of relevance to all schools, regardless of where you get your connectivity or services from. Clearly, though, some of the information will only be directly relevant to those schools which are members and/or take services from us.

         
If you take services from us and you have a problem, please go to the Got a problem? section. Service information is a section which sets out some key information and guidance about services which most schools will take - e.g. filtering, web hosting - as well as significant issues like the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act (RIPA) and the Data Protection Act (DPA) which have important implications for schools.

  We are creating a set of white papers which will provide technical and non-technical information about a range of issues - the first is about deploying Apple devices with iOS, such as iPads. We will be adding to this paper over the coming months. You may also find our frequently asked questions section a useful way of looking for answers to your questions.
