Parents Online is a Department for Education and Skills web based initiative designed to strengthen home-school links by helping parents to understand the growing role of ICT in schools and encouraging them to participate in their children’s education.
The website offers easy access to some of the best educational sites on the Internet today through our Cyber Journeys as well as membership to an online community of parents through our bulletin boards, great competitions, website builders, safety information and news.
We invite all schools (as well as UK online centres, libraries, learndirect centres and Internet cafés) to participate in this initiative by holding their own Parents Online event.
