Loc8 is an exciting new and free resource for YHGfL member schools, involving web-based maps plus a whole lot more.

The broadband based project can be used right across the curriculum, enriching every subject through its combination of applications.
Maps of various types and scales plus high-resolution overhead photos of the whole region can be combined and overlaid. With some maps, the application provides the ability to drill down through multi-layers to selcet an area right down to the smallest detail.
