In our region, Calderdale and North east lincolnshire have been active in piloting video conferencing. This North East Lincolnshire case study comes from their Lighthouse for Learning portal.
UKERNA are establishing a broadband video-conferencing service from August 2004. This will enable schools to undertake IP:IP and IP:ISDN conferencing without call charges. To register, go to UKERNA Schools Pilot, but be aware that not all schools will have the technical infrastructure to get access.
